Manipur University was established earlier as a State University on 5 June 1980 at Chanchipur in the Capital City of Manipur- Imphal. In 2005, it was converted into a Central University and its territorial jurisdiction lies all over Manipur. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Manipur University provides affiliation to over 86 colleges and 1 constituent college called Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT).
The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in areas of Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Medical Sciences. Manipur University (MU) declares the exam results of its various courses on its official website, manipuruniv.ac.in. In addition, the MU announces the dates on which it is going to release the examination results of the different courses in advance. Candidates who have appeared for any of the exams of the MU courses should check the MU official website regularly for the latest updates.
After the MU releases the exam results, the students must visit its official website to check their respective results. On the website home page, they must search for the “Notice” section and click on the relevant exam result. Thereafter, they must proceed as the system directs, following which they will be able to view their results on the screen. Importantly, they must maintain a print copy of their exam results for their records.
