The University of Rochester, traced to Rochester in New York, was incorporated in the year 1850. This esteemed university is privately funded and non-sectarian. Also, the University has the accreditation of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, the New York State Board of Regents, and Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Having the support of more than 3000 teachers and other staff members, the University has provisions for more than 200 courses. The graduate courses are provided via its different schools and colleges. Campus

The University’s main campus is the River Campus, spanning 154 acres of land. This campus also houses the River Campus Libraries, situated in downtown Rochester.

Also, the University campuses are fully equipped to cater to the developmental needs of the pupils. As such, the pupils have access to medical care, sports centers, dining zones, among others.

At Rochester University, students are also encouraged to partake in extra-curricular activities alongside their studies. So the University campus hosts about 250 student organizations for the pupils to enrol in as per their interests.

The University also promotes arts and culture. So, the campus houses museums, music schools, and art galleries.
