Vivekananda College, Delhi

The founding year of the Vivekananda College (VC) is 1970. Though, in the year 1976, the foundation stone of the College was laid. The Delhi Administration (presently, the Government of the NCT of Delhi) set up the government-funded VC. The College started operations with the objective of offering higher education opportunities to women around the Trans-Yamuna area. During the initial years, the College admitted pupils for the BA course. However, through the years, the student intake and courses offered, at the College, increased greatly.

The College works to inculcate the values of Swami Vivekananda, whom the College is named after.

The VC has ‘A’ grade accreditation from the NAAC.

Further, the VC faculty team is qualified and committed to providing value-added education. They work with the objective of maintaining a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities for nurturing the young minds.
