As per the Constitution of India, children between the age groups of 6 years and 14 years enjoy the fundamental right to free education. Conformably to the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act 2009 which comes under Article 21-A of the Indian Constitution, children have the right to elementary education in formal schools satisfying the given norms.

Students hailing from socially and economically weak sections of society are eligible to apply for RTE Admission 2026-27.

Also, RTE Admissions 2025-26 ensue on a state-wide basis. And applicants have to apply depending on the state they belong to. They should visit the respective Right to Admission 2026-27 portal state-wise and submit their applications.

• Continue by entering your “Registration ID” and “Password” in the relevant boxes and select the “Login” link.
• The following step includes clicking on the “RTE Application Form 2026-27” link.
• Now, you have to enter all the details in the application form.
• You should also upload the mandatory documents in the stipulated format.
• Proceed by selecting the “Submit” option.
• Remember to keep a hard copy of the filled out application form for your records.
