by The year 1982 marks the establishment of the Government Madhav College (GMC) in Chanderi, Guna district, Madhya Pradesh. The GMC offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the three streams of higher education: Science, Arts/Humanities, and Commerce. Also, the GMC bears affiliation with the Jiwaji University, Gwalior city, Madhya Pradesh.
Moreover, the college staff members are trained to provide a healthy balance between academic studies and extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of the students.
Courses
At the GMC, students enroll for a variety of courses in different streams. As far as undergraduate programs go, the GMC offers courses such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Under postgraduate courses, aspirants can apply for Master of Arts (Hindi), Master of Arts (Political Science), and Master of Arts (Economics).

The GMC campus is spread over 4 acres of land. More so, the college pupils have a range of facilities to avail on campus. Furthermore, the college library contains a collection of books for reference purposes. Opportunity cell and computer centers are some other amenities that the college has on campus.
